(1) January 1 -  " For I know the plans I have to prosper for you," declares the LORD,  " plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 17: 7-8

(3) January 3 -  Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. Lamentations 3:22

(4)January 4 -  I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice. Ezekiel 34:1

(5) January 5 - He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:21-22

(6)January 6 - Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up." Daniel 3:16-18

(7) January 7 - Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness,  like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3

(8) January 8 - Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3

(9) January 9 - Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the Lord are light; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them. Hosea 14:9

(10) January 10 - I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Joel 2:28

(11) January 11 - "The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD,  "When I will send a famine through the land -not a famine of food or, a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the word of the Lord ." Amos 8:11

(12) January 12 - "Though you sour like the eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down," declares the LORS. Obadiah 4

(13) January 13 - In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry. Jonah 2:2

(14) January 14 - He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.  Micah 6:8

(15) January 15 - The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those whom trust in him. Nahum 1:7

(16) January 16 - Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there  are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. Habakkuk 3:17-18

(17) January 17 - The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

(18) January 18 - Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You neat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it." Haggai 1:5-6

(19)  January 19 - "Not by might nor power, but by my Spirit,"  says the LORD Almighty. Zechariah 4:6

(20) January 20 - Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. Malachi 2:15

(21) January 21 - "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty,” and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." Malachi 3:10

(22) January 22 - In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

(23) January 23 - I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:28

(24) January 24 - You have heard that it wad said, "Love your neighbour and hate your enemy." But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good; send sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:43-45

(25) January 25 - And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:5-6

(26) January 26 - For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14

(27) January 27 - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21

(28) January 28 - No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Matthew 6:24

(29) January 29 - So do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?"  or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33

(30) January 30 - Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

(32) February 1 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis1:27

(33) February 2 - By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return. Genesis 3:19

(34)  February 3 - The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14

(35) February 4 - Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work. Exodus 20:8-10

(36) February 5 - See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Exodus 23:20

(37) February 6 - For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. Leviticus 17:11

(38) February 7 - God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act?  Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

(39) February  8 - But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the LORD; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23

(40) February 9 - Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. (41) February 10 - He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. Deuteronomy 8:3

(42) February 11 - And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your soul, and to observe the LORD'S commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good? Deuteronomy 10:12-13

(43) February 12 - See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse-the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from then way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. Deuteronomy 11:26-28

(55) February 24 - Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinion? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if baal is God, follow him." 1 Kings 18:21

(56) February 25 - Worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies. 2 Kings 17:39

(57) February 26 - But I know where you stay and when you come and go and how you rage against me. 2 Kings 19:27

(58) February 27 - Look to the LORD and His strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11

(59) February 28 - Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. 1 Chronicles 29:11

(64) March 4 - Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honour your father and mother" Which is the first commandment with a promise "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." Ephesians 6:1-3

(65) March 5 - Father, do not exasperate your children; instead , bring  them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:1-3

(66) March 6 - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of GOD so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly reams. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand, Ephesians 6: 10-13

(67) March 7  - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

(68) March 8 - Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4

(69) March 9 - Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on cross! Philippians 2:5-8

(70) March 10 - Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

(76) March 16 - See  to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which  depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:8

(77) March 17  - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:4

(78) March 18 - Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Colossians 3:20

(79) March 19  - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Colossians 3:23

(80) March 20 - Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

(104) April 13  - Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Psalms 127:3

(105) April  14 - How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. Psalms 139:17-18

(106) April 15 - Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24

(144) May 23 - My command is this: Love each other  as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:12-14

(145)  May 24 - You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16

(146) May 25 - But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will, not speak on his own; he will speak, only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13
